Reflection Of My First Term At Uni

So far I'm enjoying university, all the briefs have been really interesting and I've came out with some work that I am really pleased with.

I have found it very challenging at times but mostly enjoyed it. I have recently completed my summative brief which I am pleased with. Finally seeing it printed and bound was really satisfying.

There are many stages of the FCP process that I had to include into my summative brief. These included 'context', 'ideas', 'concepts' and 'outcomes'. We've been working on these since October, one at a time so we understand them in full depth. The part I found most challenging was the concepts part because I didn't fully understand what concepts meant and how it differed from ideas because they are very similar.

The next term is focusing more on ideas so maybe I will be able to understand more about the difference of the ideas stage and the concepts stage.
