The shell jewellery trend has definitely been around before and this time its here to stay. It was seen on the catwalk and everywhere on Instagram.

But why shells?

I think its because they have a meaning - a feeling of nostalgia. Something you used to bring home after a holiday with your family. If one single item represents holidays its shells. Memories help create a personal attachment to an item so if a customer can associate a memory with an item it will always be more successful anywhere in the industry.

I feel that wearing shells instantly make you look fresh and reflects your love for nature. As well as being stylish it is also sustainable.
