For me, the colour Coral fills me with comfort and happiness with it being such a warm vibrant but mellow colour.

Pantone says the colour Coral is meant to encourage light-hearted activity and suggest optimism and joyfulness. Because so much technology and social media has taken over the majority of ours lives, we seem to be constantly seeking for real and heart-felt experiences and this colour seems to be the colour that represents this warm and safe place.

Coral is a colour we see all around us, especially in nature, its was keeps the sea so beautiful and mesmerising to look at and to research, maybe one reason why its called the 'Coral' reef.

Because I love this colour so much I had a browse to look at some piece of interior that could easily light up my room and bring a little bit of positive energy.

To start off I'm obsessed with this little blanket from H&M that can just sit at the end of the bed and look pretty without it being too much.

This table lamp would definitely go with my room because of the rosey-gold bulb, as my room is full of this warm similar colour. This combination of metallic and coral I feel just goes so well together.

Although I don't have my own place quite yet, I am in love with this dinner set from Anthropology and would my first choice of colour when choosing my future kitchen colour scheme.
