To research for our fragrance brief I have recently been on a trip to London. I explored many fragrance brands and spoke to many owners and creators about the manufacturing and process of their products.

One place I found interesting was Perfurmer H. The owner explained that they were strong on sustainability which is the reason they don’t have any packaging. Also every time somebody brings back an empty candle they get the next one at half price. Another place that gave me inspiration was Penhaligons. This place was my favourite for bottle inspiration and the creation of character through a fragrance. I loved the design c the bottles, each one with a different animals head. One other place was Jovoy Parfumes where the lady spoke about stories behind perfumes and the meaning behind them. She also showed us the ambergris that was available to buy and explained that this was the only available to buy in London.
