Lilac Trend

When I first saw that Lilac was becoming a trend it gave me a bit of nostalgia to the kind of things I used to wear as a child an the colours I would attempt to put on my eyes for school.

However this trend has definitely grown on me and I even now own few things of this colour inspired by the trend.

One of the first times we saw lilac make a comeback was Rihanna's dress on the red carpet for the launch of her Fenty Beauty.

Lilac is said to best work with denim or shades of grey or black. Wearing it as a statement piece of clothing rather than an all over look unless you're going for the suit. It has an association with doilies and bridesmaids so maybe wearing it fuss-free without the florals and frills would get rid of these (unless you wanted that look of course).
