At the start of term we were asked to look into a brand that we felt targeted and connected with Gen Z successfully.
So I did a bit of research and finally chose my brand - Fenty Beauty
I feel this brand connects successfully with Gen z because of its brand values and beliefs. Fenty has released 50 shades of foundation to include every race and make there more variety. Their brand values are authenticity, inclusivity, they stand by there belief and believe strongly in diversity
Gen Z like brands that have strong opinions and values and that stand for something, politics or gender stereotypes. The are drawn to brands that are making changes for there world and that are sustainable and have cruelty free products. Fenty is all about self-expression and embracing your individuality and I feel this perfectly matches what gen z are looking for.
On their website they include words such as 'family' and 'us' giving them an inclusive tone of voice making consumers feel part of a team.
