So recently my Instagram feed has been FULL of this beautiful Morrocan Dior show. It was held in Marrakesh, Morroco. The purpose of this was to celebrate africian culture and global styles.

2 years ago in 2018 the Instagram savage, Diet Prada, pointed out that that years cruise collection was a copy of an Indian designer and started an uproar which then resulted in a payment to the designer. Could this year be an apology to that by coming up with more original designs?

Churi collaborated with local fabric makers Uniwax where all fabric were made in Morroco. This I love because its celebrating the culture by keeping the designs all from the same place. It gives it that bit of authenticity and transparency and that is what people are wanting nowadays. Having locals artists, poets ad designers design the collection was a great idea in my opinion.

Although if I were to say one thing I would have liked to have seen more of is Dior celebrating this more on their social media about the things these local communities have done for them!

Other than that I think the designs were beautiful, the whole choice of location

was beautiful and the way the whole show was put together was truly amazing!
