This documentary was recommended to watch by one of my lecturers. It is about the creative process when launching a new fragrance. It was recommended because it gives us a head start and closer look into what we are going to be looking at next semester.

The part I liked post was where they were launching a new fragrance for the well-known brand Tommy Hilfiger. They start to learn about who they are targeting e.g younger generation and what this age group likes and is interested in. So they thought of combining music with fragrance and making a music-themed product, one for men and one for women. I feel that looking into the consumers interests, likes/dislikes and preferences is a key part when creating a product because then you know exactly who you are creating and designing for.

I feel that watching this documentary has fuelled my brain of creative ideas I may use on my course at uni.
